This goal of this project was to develop a web-based password analyzer tool that could educate users about appropriate password security.

Contributions & Process

I was the design lead for this project.

Worked with a security expert consultant who was able to educate our team on password security, and utilized this information to develop a password algorithm that could provide users with a detailed analysis of their password strength – beyond “weak” or “strong”. The algorithm gave each user an general idea of how secure the password was, but also gave the user detailed information about whether specific criteria were met or not.

Created the interaction and visual design for all aspects of this application, following branding guidelines from the client.

Worked closely with the development engineer to ensure that the design and algorithm was implemented appropriately.
