Project Overview
Doctible is a search engine that helps HSA-plan health insurance consumers find and book healthcare appointments. I was brought in as a consultant to re-imagine the existing site and provide interaction and visual design support for additional new features.
Contributions & Process
Worked closely with the Engineering and Product teams in an agile process to determine the target audience, user needs, and do a competitive analysis.
Design user flow and completed interaction design concepts for key pages, including: homepage, search functions and results pages, and the doctor profile pages.
Created moodboards to drive the look and feel, incorporating learnings from the competitive research and the brand direction from the Product team.
Applied visual design to the wireframes, and continued to refine the interaction design, layouts, and graphics as needed to reach a final design that supported the project goals and requirements set by the team.
Working in Sketch allowed me to quickly work in an agile process with the rest of the team and to quickly transfer my work from wireframes to a polished visual design. I was also able to hand off Sketch files to the engineering team, which helped make their development process easier.
